I'm on the hunt for a Sage Method Switch 11'9" #8 blank - not the completed rod, just a blank. I'd go for the #7 too.
Sage themselves don't have any left as they were discontinued a year ago and their suggested sources don't have any either :!
I haven't found one anywhere (yet) but it's an itch I'm needing to scratch.
If anyone should know of or come across such a thing, let me know please :z16

Bet you tried Ben’s didn’t you? 😁👍
It’s a fantastic rod that.
I wouldn’t mind trying the Igniter though. Tried the 15ft-er with a Rio mid-Spey the other day. Cracker!

I did Will, yeah :wink It's a proper stick that one :z16
As it happens I also tried an Igniter 13'6" #8wt a month before belonging to Ben, was smitten so now I have one 'in production' at this very moment somewhere in darkest Inverurie

Hah! Should’ve known! 😁
Bet the 13’6 is a peach.

Absolutely.
It's the best Salmon rod I've ever picked up, I've thought about saying that....... but I stand by it :shock

Continuing with 'Things that you find in the cupboard' ...... I may well have one of those, must look deeper in the pile :z4

Can confirm that I have a brand new Sage Method 7119-4 Switch rod in the cupboard that hasn't been cast :wink
-
How much do you want for it Mike?
Only joking. 😂😂
Let Hamish have it! 👍

I am no longer looking for a Sage Method Switch 11'9' :wink

So you finally got the double hander you have been looking for! I'm not looking so stoopid for buying my Vision Tool 11'6" #8 now, am I? :z4 :z4 :z4
Can't wait to get my Commando head on it and see how far that goes with a double tungsten cone Francis on the end of a T14 tip.
Finally, you get the lighter rod thing and can stop chucking skagits with single handers :z7 And with the new OPST floating tips for steelhead you can have a proper "Skandit" with a long leader for those low water summer levels, which the Method will excel at.
You are going to have a load of fun with that rod mate. Imagine that on the Awe after Rainbows :z4 :z16
Congrats,
