Title: Line for Scott G2 906

Anyone with experience of this rod or any other rod in this series from Scott? According to Scott its true to weight and lines should not be heavier like many lines on the market today.
What line do you think would be a good match? My initial thought is a GT90 #6.

I'd opt for your initial thought - the GT90 will be well suited to the G2 which does, if I recall correctly, have quite a smooth medium action.

Is the GT90 following the AFTM standard or are the lines heavier like a lot of the lines on the market today.  According to Scott themselves their rods work best with lines according to AFTM and not heavier.

Yes, the specification we give to the factory is to target AFFTA/AFTM line weight standards.
