Nice work! :z16
Try that on a tube or a shank and see how you get on.
First of all go to here,
http://www.aprilvokey.com/podcasts/
and scroll down to Jerry French Part 1 The Intruder and listen to the man himself. It needs a rear section to "cloak" the hook.
And FFS lose the barb!! :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 Still looks really cool, sparse and mobile :z16

I admit I overestimated the length of the ostrich spey hackle *doh* but since then I have found some long ostrich and rea so the next attempts will be better proportioned 😜
Nice work! :z16

No no, the ostrich hackle length is perfect, it just needs a rear "station", which would be a smaller version of the front "station".
Everything else is super cool.
Rhea is really excellent. Watch this for help,

I watched the April Vid. I haven't a clue what she was tying, but she did it very nicely :z14 Derek Roxborough

It was about how to not over wrap rhea but I can assume that you were overawed by her beauty and skill and distracted! :z7 :z4 :z4
Dubbing loops and rhea wraps are a good skill that will help you in other areas.
I like to tie in the final long fibres forward over the eye and then as a final act flare them backwards and tie them in, but that is just me. I do that with bumbles too. :wink
