Hello me again :X2 haha i have jst bought a float tube and am looking for recommendations and fins and a life jackets help will be much appreciated :z18

When it comes to a life jacket, preferable to get one with crotch straps. 150N would do the job and personally I'd opt for an auto-inflate. These have manual activation, just in case.
Above all, keep your life jacket serviced in accordance with manufacturers guidance at an approved/licensed agent.
Fins - do not be tempted to go too big :!

I bought IST taralia fins and driving boots to go over my stocking foot waders. They are awesome, not cheap but awesome

What tube did you get?

I'm with Hamish on the fins. I bought some really big long fins thinking that I would speed past Iain Cameron and Euan Innes on a trip to Beanie a few years back. All I got was major cramp in both calves as I watched them fishing and catching trout as I limped out of the water and bank fished for the rest of the day.
:X2 :mad
Eddie.

I went into aberdeen watersports so that I could try on boots and fins, took my waders to make sure I got a fit that would work.
Ended up with boots similar to these:

and pretty sure it was these fins:

not the cheapest, but they fit well and i've not had any problems using this setup.

I did think of getting one of those but settled in the guideline drifter which has proved to be just perfect
