myself & Jamie Sandford are hosting the Carp Champions stand at the Scottish Fly Fair. Please drop by and say "hi!" We'll be promoting carp as a game-fish and a fantastic quarry for your fly rod, especially if you fancy stalking 20lb fish in skinny, gin clear water in the blazing sun..... :z12
we're not commercial or sponsored and we are entirely self-funded (although we were kindly invited by organiser Davy Newell). the Carp Champions group has nearly 500 active members world-wide and we are proud to have a number of the most innovative and influential fly tiers, authors & anglers amongst our brethren.
on the stand we'll be displaying carp flies, photos and books from across the globe and of course we'll be on hand to answer questions, tell you some tall tales and hopefully enthuse you with a desire to hunt these magnificent fish with your fly-rod!

Should be a great weekend, situated almost in the middle of Scotland so everyone should try to make it. Davy has done a great job bringing this to Scotland please don't waste the opportunity :z13 :z13

Cracking wee show, well attended and well worth supporting next year. Dates already announced for 2019

Aye it was a grand day out. Hopefully it will go from strength to strength.

Pictures tell a thousand words - looks like it was a grand event and I'm pleased for the organisers.
Depending on the sponsorship in 2019, I'll almost certainly attend :z16
