Title: Haddo Trout Fishery ( to December 10th )
Post by: Mike Barrio on 11/12/2007 at 00:26
Hi folks

A bit of ice about on Saturday morning, but apart from that the Haddo boats have been on good form this week, with Damsels, Mini Cats, Pearly PTN and Millenium producing some good catches. There have been some good trout moving on the surface despite the cold water conditions, these have proved difficult to tempt, but one or two anglers have caught fish on the dry fly!

John Brown tempted 21 fish up to 7 lb for his session, Andrew Mott 11 up to 11 lb, Fred McAlley 14 up to 8 lb, Alex Thain 13 up to 11 lb, James Rennie 19 up to 4 lb, Jim Adie 17 up to 9 lb, Kenny Hall 14 up to 3 lb, Derek MacLaren 10 up to 4½ lb and Ian Sutherland netted 11 fish up to approx 4 lb.

On the colder mornings, I can be contacted on the usual 07810 868897 for updates on water conditions.
