Hi , has any body got any advice on how to maintain a scierra reel , 
the drag system on mine is not  working and have tried  WD40 but no joy

Which reel?
If I can get an exploded diagram then we can work out how to take it apart.
What I can tell you is that STOP the WD40 treatment!! :shock
WD40 is for water displacement and is NOT a lubricant. This reel will probably now need a complete strip down and clean because the WD40 will attract all manor of crap that will clog the works and probably ruin the drag if it got on the discs.
So, which reel is it?

 I would have used alcohol to clean the drag, the drag plates need to be dry , Derek Roxborough
