Although i'm no expert, i have to say these new-fangled glass rods seem to work okay....  :z12

bloody huge black muddler, Mike. that's dry in my book...  :cool:  but then i've got a very progressive  book  :z4

May I suggest a rather large black or olive Woolley Bugger and a fast sink polyleader.

You may open Pandoras box and catch some cracking Brownies on that outfit, without being over gunned :)

to be honest Rob, my next trick will be to add some 25lb nylon & a wire tippet and head down the duck pond after pike....   :wink
