Title: Visitor , 3rd week in August, where to send him?
Post by: Rob Brownfield on 04/07/2017 at 12:41
I have my cousin and her partner heading up for a surprise visit in the 3rd week of August and he is a mad keen angler and shooter. He mainly carp fishes in France and Spain, but also fly fishes some or the stocked waters around Essex.

I have booked a Friday on the Dee for him (and me of course) but I am looking for suggestions for the Wednesday and the Thursday.

Wild Brownies come to mind, anything else? Is there are deer stalking available that time of year?

Cheers in advance

Rob, roe bucks & red stags are both in season at the minute. Roe deer being the friendly option out of the two for your wallet.  Plenty of guides in the area with fb pages. If you get stuck give me a shout
