Post by: The Aul Troot on 05/02/2017 at 14:11
The past week has seen more settled conditions in that temperatures have been more seasonal and although quite windy at times, conditions have remained suitable for fishing. The fish appear to have settled to a more consistent feeding pattern and, once this is considered, anglers have seen reasonable returns, the best of which were; G Ellington, Ellon, 12 fish, (black okay dokey), P Barron, Oldmeldrum, 7 fish, (Damsel), S Buchan, Turriff, 6 fish, (buzzer, cat's whisker), A Smith, Ellon, 5 fish, (damsel), J Mackay, Macduff, 5 fish, (white fritz), C Parsons, Peterhead, 4 fish, (black buzzer).

Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am and booking is not necessary. Boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery and up to date information on conditions can be obtained by phoning Bob on 07980 999 006.  :z15
