HI John
eBay probably the best place :z16
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROD-FERRULE-STOPPER-acorn-for-Allcocks-vintage-split-cane-fly-float-rod-/331986787411?var=&hash=item4d4bf45c53:m:mQwPp83gvoAr1cS4OgcsBJw
Plenty others on there, you might even find a match for the one you have :z16 just search 'ferrule stoppers'
Good luck :z16

eBay probably the best place..............Sandy..........
thanks - that was my first action....came up with 2000+ hits
strangely only 2 pages are shown = 120...
'purefishing7' swamps the listings with the same advert but for each rod in creation.............I hate that....
their cork/walnut stoppers are £10 each ......but nice... :shock

That will be because the suppliers have multiple units for sale. If 2 sellers have 250 stoppers each to sell you will get in the search results, 500 listed, but only see 2 sellers.
