I remember walking up to the Kype reservoir with my Dad in the early 1980s, might have been that one of the angling clubs he was in was interested in it.
Long time ago that.... long time ago :shock
The club have a website: http://www.kypeanglingclub.co.uk/

it is a quiet place - only a mile or so up from my cottage
I had several seasons there before I fell ill 3years ago, and had to quit
they only stock 4times/season so it's not a magnet for the stockie-bashers
has a good number of browns - small tho as very little fly-life
unfortunately visitors/permit holders have fallen drastically and the Club may have to fold... :cry
I'll learn more asap - as I've applied for a 2017 permit.............................john
