Title: Beginners to flyfishing
Post by: Chris Connolly on 10/10/2016 at 15:01
Im currently updating the tackle I have for my youngsters fly courses and looking for some help if anyone can.

Since the airflow kits we bought didn't have the facility for spare spools , I need to purchase 8 cheap fly reels which do have the facility of getting spare spools for them.
I also need 8 intermediate fly lines in a wf 6/7 and 8 spools of backing. The budget is tight for this little lot and was hoping to do it for around £200 but to a max of £250.
Any ideas , suggestions or help would be most appreciated.

Have a look on the Tacklebargins website.

They have Shakespeare Contender intermediate fly lines for £8.29 each in 6 weight

Or Shakey Odysseys at a tenner in 7 weight.

Reel wise they have the Airflo Classic Cassette...so it comes with 4 spools for £45.

Without intending to offend Mike here but John Norris are selling their Pro2 fly lines for £3.99, there are a number of anglers on various forums who recommend them. See the link.  https://www.johnnorris.co.uk/john-norris-pro2-fly-lines.html
