Title: Lochter Report - Plenty of Action at Lochter
Post by: Howard & Stuart on 19/09/2016 at 13:11

What a wonderful couple of weeks of T.V we have had watching the Paralympics. A truly uplifting but humbling experience and didn’t team GB do well!!!

There have been some anglers at Lochter Fishery in Oldmeldrum striking gold as well as the variable Autumn weather kept the fish on the move.

Zander Hall on his first visit to Lochter started things off with eight on buzzers and Ken McGregor kept things  moving with seven on lures.

As the week progressed conditions got a bit misty and murky particularly in the morning but that did not put off Les Greenness who tempted ten with an assortment of lures.

Peter Young kept up the standard by netting fifteen on a WSW. He kept two for the pot and released the others.

The week came to a close with a couple of bright sunny days. The two McLeans were out enjoying the day and sharing twenty two fish between them on a mix of home tied lures.

Dries  worked well for C. McGhee who grassed eleven nice fish and Harry Hughes gave them a throw on a short evening session and tempted seven fish in rapid order.

With the weather set to remain mild, prospects remain good.
