This week has seen higher average temperatures and even with the bright sunshine, better catches have bee recorded. The continuing forecast with a mixture of rain and sunshine suggest that next week will see a continuation of the better fishing conditions. Several anglers landed excellent catches the best amongst these being; A Cowie, Fraserburgh, 37 fish, (blob, diawl bach, buzzers), S Edwards, Turriff, 29 fish, (montana, spider), I Burnett, Fraserburgh, 20 fish, (diawl bach, yellow dancer), J Abel, Fraserburgh, 20 fish, (buzzers), G Ellington, Ellon, 21 fish, (pink buzzer), K Fraser, Greeness, 10 fish, (diawl bach, damsel), A Murray, Gardenstown, 9 fish, (orange fritz), B Furey, Peterhead, 9 fish, (cat's whisker, buzzer), S Simpson, Turriff, 8 fish, (white lure, dry fly).

Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am til 9pm and visitors are always welcome. Booking is not necessary and boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery. For up to date information and conditions phone Bob on 07980 999 006. :z15
