The weather this past week has been more settled but anglers are still having to contend with a persistent breeze which alternates between Northerly and Westerly directions together with periods of bright sunshine and overcast conditions the fish have not settled into a consistent feeding pattern and anglers have been forced to change tackle and tactics to follow the fish behaviour. Some good catches were recorded the best of which were; A Murray, Gardenstown, 59 fish over several visits, (budgie, white fritz), J West, Fraserburgh, 23 fish, (pink blob, black fritz), N Buchan, Ellon, 10 fish, (black buzzer, klinkhammer), J Reid, Aberdeen, 8 fish, (bloodworm, dry fly), D Low, Aberdeen, 8 fish, (dry fly), N Thomson, Turriff, 8 fish, (CDC, buzzers), I Burnett, Fraserburgh, 7 fish, (cat's whiskers), G Moir, Aberdeen, 7 fish, (Okay Dokey, dry fly).
