The weather during the past week has continued in a mixed vein but also provided windows where fishing was quite productive. The cold overnight temperature has threatened to ice up the water but fortunately we have not yet been affected. Some good catches were recorded during the week, the best amongst these being; A Murray, Gardenstown, 19 fish, (Olive Fritz), G Ellington, Ellon, 10 fish, (Yellow Buzzer), I Burnett, Fraserburgh, 10 fish, (Cat's Whisker), M Stewart, Methlick, 9 fish, (Shug Bug), K Fraser, Greeness, 9 fish, (Black Fritz, Olive Lure), A Smith, Ellon, 6 fish, (Yellow Buzzer), B Wiseman, Fraserburgh, 6 fish, (Cat's Whisker), S McLean, Fraserburgh, 5 fish, (Olive WSW), W Campbell, Aberdeen, 5 fish, (Montana).
The forecast for the coming week continues to be mixed but generally we can expect a moderate rise in daytime temperatures.
