Salmon reel sounds good to me.  :z16
One request when you get round to it Mike. Please make it heavy so that the weight comes to the rear of the rod. Modern reels are too light for most double handers. I have a Vision Tank in two sizes that balance both rods just right.

Mike the reels look ace! Clean looking, simple by design (even though I know a lot has gone into it  :wink) and solid! Just my cup of tea.  :cool:

The Barrio LA78 reels have arrived :cool:
Spool diameter 107mm, spool width 25mm, weight 218.5 grams. Designed for 7 to 9 weight fly lines with plenty of backing.
A reel for predator and switch rod fishing and one that will appeal to reservoir anglers looking for a high capacity reel for heavier line weights.
