Title: Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery report w/e 31/1/16
Post by: The Aul Troot on 31/01/2016 at 15:50
Another week where the weather put paid to fishing activity with only the hardiest anglers prepared to face the low temperatures and high winds which predominated throughout the week. Although today (Sunday) offers very favourable conditions the forecast for the coming week is less than encouraging with wind and rain for the early part of the week with temperatures dropping from there on. Recorded catches this week were down due to weather conditions but the best amongst these were:
M Stewart, Methlick, 15 fish,(snug bug, green/black nymph), A Murray, Gardenstown, 12 fish, (green/white fritz), I Burnett, Fraserburgh, 8 fish, (yellow/white fritz), N Thomson, Turriff, 5 fish, (black nomad, buzzers).
Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is open seven days from 8am til dusk (4pm at present). Booking is not necessary and visitors and novices are always welcome. Boats (where required) rods and tackle is available for hire at the fishery. For up to date information about conditions or any other enquiries phone Bob on 07980 999 006. :z15
