Title: Lochter Report - Cauld Blew The Bitter Biting North
Post by: Howard & Stuart on 18/01/2016 at 11:29
The words of the bard are ringing true at the moment. Just when we thought that we were not going to get a winter, down came the icy hand.

At Lochter Fishery in Oldmeldrum, fishing has been greatly restricted by ice, but despite that the fish have been feeding and some excellent catches have been made.

Top scorer of the week was Bill Gibb who caught and released sixteen using an okey dokey and a special home tied blob. Also using a blob was Alan Morgan and ten fish were suitable impressed.

S. Sinclair tempted nine using an okey dokey and an apps bloodworm and Graham Weir seven on a mini cat.

Names are coming in for the Rabbie Burns Pairs on Sunday 31st January, this is the first competition of the year and has proven very popular as it affords anglers the opportunity to look out their gear for the new season and meet up with old angling buddies.

To enter phone the fishery on 01651 872787 or 872000 or email at info@lochter.co.uk
