Title: Hardy Sintrix 12 1/2 ft # 7 what line recommendations?
Post by: cairngormchemist on 15/08/2015 at 00:12
I've just taken delivery of an ex demo Hardy Sintrix 12'6" #7. Has anybody got any experience of different lines on this rod? I usually use Scandi versi tip type lines and have recently been using Skagit heads on the Skeena which were a bit of a revelation for getting big flies down deep in super fast water. So any views on Skagit lines would be useful too.

The Barrio ISS would be a good call in a 7/8 http://www.flylineshop.com/barrio-ISS-fly-lines.html and should be just about perfect on the Hardy.
When it comes to the Skagit have a look at this http://www.orvis.co.uk/p/hydros-spey-system-/7h6a

Well, you're in the right place to ask about Barrio lines!
