Title: Advice on the deveron

Hi guys

I am taking a big step on Saturday going to a club outing on the Deveron, This is my first time on a river. The water might be high so unfortunately we may be spinning what spinners  and colours work best also what flies will I need to tie to take with me.I am not sure what beats we are fishing somewhere beside Turriff .I  hope I can catch more than the trees but I am not holding my breath.
