Hi guys, first post here and not the most creative one so apologies! Hopefully can add something better soon.
One of the top snakes on my Z-Axis has snapped at the base of the leg where the whippings are. As we are just entering prime time on the rivers this is a bit traumatic to say the least. Does anyone know who could replace the guide with a matching one and match thread colour etc?
I have bad experiences of the guy down the local tackle shop doing this - "I don't have a snake guide, I'll just whip this 10mm lined stainless guide on with red thread, that'll be fine..." etc...
Basically I love this rod and am keen that it is a top notch job!

I am more intrigued as to how you snap a snake ring? :)

Cheers for the replies guys, Sandy has kindly offered to fix it.
I've no idea how it broke but I do walk through thick brush quite a lot so maybe I smacked it into a tree or something? haha
I didn't notice for ages but got very confused as it seemed that I repeatedly missed a guide when stringing up. Only twigged that it was broken last weekend..

When Sandy does the repair, make sure you ask for his special fairy dust to be added.
I presume he does use fairly dust judging by the amazing fish he catches...it can be the only explanation ;)

It worked yesterday :z4
