Long haul for just that competition bud, so probably not and it's likely I wouldn't be allowed to enter anyway :roll
However, nice to see the BFCC doing some competition "oversight" at something other than a BFCC event. From small acorns....  :wink

I'm told that entries for the Sportfish event are strictly for the amateur which is a shame for some but understandable.

I hope it goes well, looking forward to seeing how it went and how the BFCC get on with running (or at least measuring the distances) a non-BFCC event.

Was seeing casters who could really throw that inspired me to have a  go at the Tournament stuff.

Surely an amateur and and open would have been more encouraging?

Cheers

Yes - agreed - but I guess in fairness to them a Sportfish event isn't necessarily the best place for that to happen. Somewhere like the CLA, that would be a good call. Oh.... wait a minute  :roll
