Emergers have been on the menu at Haddo this week, with CDCs, F-flies, Hoppers, Spiders, Hare's ears, Bibio and Bloodworm producing good top of the water sport. :wink
Chris McAllister tempted over 25 fish for his session including 3 trout in the 10 to 15½ lb range. Alan McWilliam netted 16 fish up to approx 10½ lb, Mark Robertson 16 to 10 lb, Brian Carle 15 to 5 lb, Wilson Pirie 11 to 11½ lb, John Buchan 10 to 8 lb, Kenny Hall 12 to 4 lb, Scott Carle 17 to 4 lb, Andrew Mott 10 to 5½ lb, Henry Lockhart 18 to 6 lb, Peter Scott 11 to 3 lb, Kevin Reid 10 to 5 lb, Alistair Davidson 22 to 5 lb, Hugh Baxter 11 including a 10 lb blue trout, Kevin Neri 20 to 6 lb and Rod MacKay caught 9 fish up to 13 lb on his Barrio 3wt rod.
Junior angler Daniel Livingstone tried fly fishing and float tubing for the first time and netted 3 fish on spiders and dry fly ..... Well done!
