Title: Artloch Report (up to 15 Jul)
Post by: Stuart at Artloch on 17/07/2007 at 22:02
With trout rising well, various dries, suspender buzzers and CDCs have worked well, although lures attracted a good number of fish.

While a number of anglers just failed to reach double numbers, H Glover did break the barrier with 10, best at 5lbs, using a mixture of buzzers and bloodworm.   Visiting anglers P Rayne and A Brown each tempted 11, best at 4lbs, using different techniques; one using dries and buzzers, while the other used a Budgie and Black WSW.   J Taylor and I Sutherland both improved with 12, best at 5lbs, using CDCs, dries and buzzers, but L Wood went 1 better with 13, best at 4 1/2 lbs using a White Buzzer.   While P Cunningham was very happy with a cracking 6lbs 4ozs bow, I Sutherland was this week's top rod with 17, best at 6 lbs, using various CDCs and dries.

Artloch Fishery is closed to casual anglers because of a Club outing on Sunday 22 July.
