A Blustery saturday even for Haddo - there were 2 boats out but the wind played havoc, both anchors on the boats and they were still drifting quickly . Some takes but unfortunately nothing landed although the Anglers did get their free flies promised for bookings on the weekend. Sunday saw a completely different day with thin layer of ice on the lake , Matt Reid and Alan Baker had a tough start but finished well for the conditions. Matt ended the day with 6 (4 Rainbows and 2 Browns-one of aprox 2.5lb) and Alan landed 1 Rainbow. The fly they chose was the cats whisker which is certainly the fly of choice currently.
