Dormisch/absi? The guy that makes 'em lives in Bariloche in patagonia - I popped in and met him, dropping off a copy of Fly Fishing & Fly Tying's review of his earlier work. He was surprised to see a random person at his door; think he was an engineer who branched out into exotic machining

I have an interest in fishing 'bling' and occasionally have bought reels in particular just for the hell of it (e.g Sshoot Backwinder) then parted with them a year or two later when I've seen something else that catches my eye. The mark of a tart  :wink Anyway I saw the Absi and thought of the Backwinder and figured that as these reels are likely to be thin on the ground then Mark Leggat (Legget :?) of Alternative Tackle might have an inkling if there's any on the go outside of specialist collectors. That's if Alternative Tackle is still on the go :z8

Discontinued maybe, but as the creator I'm sure he could manage to advise anyone interested where they might find one  :z13
