Title: License requirements for Loch Affric
Post by: Ben Tripper on 02/11/2013 at 21:50
Hello All,

I'm getting mixed responses to direct enquiries about the need for a rod license for trout fishing at Loch Affric.  Some say no license is required.  Some say no member of the public can fish the loch - it is exclusive to the Lodge.  Others haven't replied.  I'm also wondering if the season is still open and if there are any restrictions, like using barbless hooks, no worms, no spinning etc.
Does anyone have any info?

Cheers, Ben.

No rod licence Ben but you may need a permit. When the season opens of course  :wink

Its best to check locally if a permit for trout is required.
