Just had a good day (for me) on the Don with a shrimp pattern I tied. Not revolutionary but I thought I would share it
Hook: #12 Kamasan B175
Weight: Lead wire wrapped on middle half of shank
Tail: 6-8 partridge feather fibres
Body: Hare's ear
Rib: Copper wire
Shellback: Yellow nymph skin
Legs: Partidge feather tied in at back and pulled forward over the top of the hook below the shellback then clipped level with the hook point
Feelers: Same as tail
I will try and get some pictures if anyone wants to see it!
