Emergers, Shipmans, Hoppers, Adams, Bibio, Buzzers, Sedge, Diawl Bachs, Damsels and black Spiders have produced some great top of the water sport at Haddo this week.
Dave Olley enjoyed a cracking float tube session with his wee bamboo 4wt rod in classic Haddo spider style and tempted over 30 fish for his afternoon, including two rainbows in the 10 to 12 lb range and a lovely blue trout of approx 7 lb. Damien Bruce and Kipps Kerr also had fun in their "armchairs", netting 9 fish up to 12 lb and 13 up to 6½ lb.
From the boats, "Monksmyre" Derek netted 15 fish up to 4 lb, Scott Sim 14 up to 4 lb, John Baxter 12 up to 10 lb, Hugh Baxter 10 up to 12 lb, Neil Garden a dozen up to 4 lb and Andrew Dunn 10 fish up to 5 lb.
Hamish Young released a nice trout of approx 10 lb and Derek Glennie, Martin Reid and Donald Petrie all netted fish of approx 12 lb.
