I use Wychood Clear Vues as I love the idea of seeing the flies when its peeing down with rain and you don't want to open a box to see whats in it...BUT..I have a "special" box that has my favourite flies in it.

This Favourites box is now very worn and old looking, so I need something special...I think one of these Barrio boxes is going to be on the list to replace it.

Lovely looking. There is something very tactile about a wooden fly box.

Box arrived yesterday as promised. It is really rather nice!!!!

The hinge system is superb, no more wee screws pulling out, the magnetic closure is spot on and what really impressed me was the way the two halves of the box come together so evenly.

The box really is very nice indeed!!!

Good luck and good work Sandy.
I have been trying that for a few years now and still have to have two boxes. The loch box and the river box are both finished but yet to be used. The salmon box needs about three more flees and it is good to go too.
Currently in Italy and heading for Norway on Friday so no fishing for me yet. Bugger...

I still have a couple of boxes Mike. I use them as my small stream box from time to time. Cool looking, solid build and they float well - handy when you're clumsy!

Here's one I'm filling for a friend for the upcoming season. He better appreciate it!  :z4 :wink
