Title: Fulling Mill Grab Gape and Czech barbless hooks.
Post by: Rob Brownfield on 22/04/2013 at 12:49
Bought a heap of these at the weekend down at Angling Active in Stirling.

So far I am liking the Grab Gape hooks. They are very similer to a Partridge SLD but with a heavier wire. I am tying spiders and nymphs on them and the proportions are lovely.

Not tied on the Czech hooks yet, but they also look nice. Slightly springy wire, which I like as you can pull out of rocks without breaking the leader, but still hold fish reasonably hard.

Not a bad price either at £6 for 50 hooks :)

Following conversations today on the riverbank with fellow forumites, that sounds promising.  :roll
