Hi folks
I have decided that Haddo Trout Fishery will not be open to the public as a commercial fishery in 2013 and no fishing permits will be available.
Should anybody be interested in running the lake as a fishery, please don't hesitate to contact me via PM or email and we can discuss the possibility :wink
Best wishes
Mike

Well well Mike, business going well then? :z4
I am going to polish my brass neck and ask one thing. If you are going to open for the Orvis day, would you do the summer solstice all night fish? By invite only, of course! :z14 Midnight barbecues, muddler sedge rises in the dark, dawn rises, talking shi1e all night and the all night smell of coffee brewing on the stove. Go on you know you want to :wink

No, sorry Marc, it would be a case of making me an offer of a reasonable amount for my gear like the huts, boats, trout stock, tools etc and then taking over the lease :wink

That is good news. I'm ashamed to say I was never a regular visitor at Haddo but one thing I enjoyed was blethering to my dad in the boat in a way that you don't get with a days fishing either at a fishery or salmon fishing. I'm glad that it will be open again soon.
-
There IS a god and his name is Clint! :z16 Looking forward to meeting you and fishing Haddo again. We should be seeing a lot of each other!
Ewan
-
Great news, and wish Clint all the best with the new venture.
And thanks again to Mike for his work in fostering a great angling community here in the NE, much of which was due to the enjoyment of fishing Haddo with like minded bampots enthusiasts.
cheers

In contrast to when Mike first opened Haddo it is very unlikely that Euan and I will be able to make to the...errrr..... second opening of Haddo from darkest Inverness-shire :z10
However I wish you all the best of luck and every success with it Clint and hope everyone who goes along has a grand day out at the Haddo 'rebirth' :z16
