Hi folks.
I've not tied any classics for a few months so sat down and churned this one out.
Pretty average with lots of faults but an enjoyable tye.

Incidently i reckon his flies are as technical as these classics any day.

Post by: Ben Dixon on 05/11/2012 at 21:54: Keep em coming, some of Ollies patterns are superb and very difficult to get right. I tied some of his heptagenid nymphs some years back, gave up on them as loosing on on the bottom is as painful as breaking a rod!

Never seen a classic gut eyed fly tied with a cone head before Pete? Is this some sort of "modern classic"?

No Chris it's actually a present for my brother-in-law :shock Too good for him really :grin but I'll mount it and give him it for his birthday
