Title: Artloch Report
Post by: Stuart at Artloch on 24/04/2007 at 08:30
Until Friday, intermediates were the order of the day, but someone turned a switch and since then the fish have been rising very nicely; it seems that top water fishing has resumed at Artloch.

Fish have been tempted by a variety of dries, buzzers and wets, but while we have seem some excellent rises, getting them to take a fly has been frustrating at times.   Examples bags included B Milton with 8, matched by S Prince.   D Lewis also tempted 8, as did J Davies, best at 6lbs.  S Ray and P Guy both improved with 9, best at 6 lbs, while L Wood released 11, best at 5 lbs.  RJ Gartshore released a cracking bow circa 11lbs.

As I write this an angler is doing very nicely with 14 so far, including a surperb 11 lbs 2 oz fish and an 8lb and a 7 lbs bow; more next week.

website at www.artlochfishery.co.uk will be updated Tuesday evening.
