Title: Loch Balhomish
Post by: Jim Eddie on 18/07/2012 at 20:19
Fished Loch Balhomish yesterday with a pal of mine, its situated up a forrest track off the Dunkeld to Crieff road. Its a small but very scenic loch, reminds me a bit on Glentanar.

Luckily the weather was kind to us and we had a grand days fishing. John stuck to the dries all day with good success and I opted for wets with a Partridge and Orange, Blck spider and Straggle Fritz Pennell doing the damage.

Were there any more browns of that stamp?

Noel

Aye John is keeping well. you need to be a club member or guest to fish the palce, I can put you in touch with john if you fancy it.
There are wildies and stockies, we had fish from 6" to 2-1/2lbs , lost a biggie. Just one boat so you have the place to yourself.

Sounds good Jim. Be good to share a boat with him again.
