Post by: Kevin Moss on 23/04/2012 at 07:49
Better suited for ducks rather than fishing this week, but in between showers fish were seen and taken off the top on small beetle patterns and muddlers pulled across the surface saw fish chasing and made up for the bad conditions at times.Still plenty of fish being caught throughout.Kevin Middlemis had good sessions with 7 and 4 best at 4lb 6ozs,Ian Morrison had 16 on diawl bachs,Callum Mackenzie had 9,Ron Philips had 10 best at 4lb 5ozs,Steve Urwin had 11,Rob Williams had 15 best at 3lb 4ozs,Billy Mackay had 8,Mike Matthews had 10,Johnny Dunbar had 9,and kev Goodall had 6,Averages worked out around 4 per session for most anglers with only the odd blank bags.Yellow dancers did start to take towards the weekend as did suspender buzzers and scruffs in black. The coarse loch fished not bad with carp and ide been taken, mostly pellet bait working the best for anglers here.

Sunday May 6th Is the "Brian Christie memorial competition" which starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4pm names to the glen for entry and places are becoming limited for this now.entry is £25 this includes lunch.prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd.
