As some may have read the pawl and click check on my Grey's Streamlite Reel gave up half way through a fight with a robust Sea Trout three weeks ago. I contacted Grey's Customer Service and a helpful girl called Sarah suggested I send the reel back to them to get all internal plastic parts changed to metal ( the cog wheel, pawl etc) and this would be free of charge.
Well, I got the reel back today two weeks after sending it and all work carried out impecably and totally FoC ! :z16 The click check is perhaps not quite as responsive in terms of start up inertia as it was before but I am sure it will break in and it will hopefully last.
I have read some negative stuff on forums about Grey's customer service so thought I would post my positive experience - my reel only had 12 days left on the warranty. The new Hydros II is the No.1 Reel now though :wink

Sounds pretty good, couldn't really ask for more.
