Howdy pardners. Yes it is me Zeolite with extra fries. Been over in the USA for 18 months now and I am finally getting into the wonderful fishing that is available in Wyoming. Residents permit is $36 and there is plenty of water available for all sorts of trout and Kokanee (landlocked sockeye). Up until the beginning of the year i have been way too busy to get out but after managing to escape from North Dakota for a while I have started fishing my local river the North Platte. It is full of fish and the small ones have been very encouraging. I am working my way up the scale so hopefully I will have some 5lb wild trouts to show you soon. The Rainbows are about to spawn and I would expect some big boys to turn up to the party.
Reports and pics to follow in the next few months, hopefully of some big fish!

Just back in from a cracking day of wild rainbow fishing. My first ever 3lber that took 15 mins to land and 2 2lbers as well. Lots of smaller ones on a bright sunny day on the North Platte at the Grey Reef dam in Wyoming. No pics as I forgot the camera but I will remember it next time.
All caught on a scabby old second hand rod i bought from Goolager! Cheers Iain. :z4
