I was thinking about getting a set of poly leaders running through the different densities to cover all bases.
Has anyone used them? Was gonna get the airflo set as you can get them for £25 instead of £37 if you join the discount club ( you can pick them as your free gift ).
Do you think they are worth having or would you rather hang pictures :z8 with them ??

I wouldn't be without my poly leaders when Salmon fishing but don't use them much for Trout fishing, if at all.
What do you have in mind Adam; would these primarily be used for trout fishing :?
If so, do you really need 7 different densities or would a slow sink, a fast sink and a super fast sink do :?
Guess it depends on what you want them for, but they're a good product.

I like to use an intermediate with a floating line when fishing buzzers across the wind. The intermediate just helps to anchor the fly line and slow the drift. Also helps when mending the line as again it anchors.
I also sometimes use a slow sink in the same situation but when the wind is blowing hard.
I have a 10 foot floating one that is sometimes used if I want to use a particularly large dry fly such as a daddy as it does help turn over the fly.
I would not be without them for my Pike fly fishing as there are not many specialist Pike lines on the market, and those that are tend to be floating or intermediate, so a fast sink poly on a intermediate means I can get the flies down a bit more.

I'd have an intermediate, med sink & ex fast sink. Can be useful in certain situations like keeping things like unweighted blobs / lures down a bit when pulling fast. If you can get the full set cheap then do so, they take up no space in a vest and come in useful occasionally.

Hamish, they are for trout fishing, im pretty certain I will probly never use the full set but as they are a set I see no reason why not.
Thanks also Ben / Rob for your input. It's a case of getting this set or an airflo ridge line so it a toss up. Prob go wit the leaders as I think they will be handy.

I have a ridge line...dont like it. Picks up grit and dirt very quickly indeed.
Get the poly leaders. :)

I'm with Rob - get the polyleaders over the ridge line :z16
