Christmas Eve and the end to a good weeks' fishing. The weather has been favourable especially towards the end of the week and good catches have been recorded. Amongst the top anglers this week were;
 
J West, Fraserburgh, 23 fish, (Red Blob), P Green, Huntly, 14 fish, (Bloodworm), G Thomson, Buckie, 15 fish, (Olive Nymph), N Thomson, Turriff, 11 fish, (Green/Black Fritz), K Wright, Newburgh, 10 fish, (Bloodworm), A Murray, Gardenstown, 10 fish, (Bloodworm), K Gillies, Huntly, 10 fish, (Bloodworm).
 
Almost all fish taken this week have been on various lures with the red Bloodworm being the top catcher. Also notable this week was a 6.5lb wild brownie landed to J West, Fraserburgh.
 
The fishery is closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day but will open from 8:00am on all other days. Boats, rods and tackle is available for hire. Booking is not necessary. For up to date ice conditions (at present we are completely clear) phone Bob on 07980 999 006.
