I reckon social networking is one of the most powerful tools niche business have. I like hearing they've got a new product out or seeing what other people are doing with the products. How long until barrio fly lines or haddo has a twitter/facebook page?

I linked my rod to the CTS page and the Solway page when it existed! Let's other people see what is going on. Also foxy tails has lots of fly tiers who post pictures of their excellent work.
