Title: Haddo Trout Fishery ( to March 6th )
Post by: Mike Barrio on 05/03/2007 at 23:35
Hi folks

Haddo has produced fairly good sport to the boats again this week, considering the weather conditions that we've seen. Bloodworm, Pearly Pennell, Fritz, Cats Whisker and Hare's Ear Nymph all proving productive.

Father and son team, Graham and Scott Hartley had a great session with 40+ fish to their boat on Sunday, Graham's largest being approx 10 lb and Scott's best 6½ lb. Kev Danby also tempted 20 fish including 4 charr and 3 brownies. Keith Crocket enjoyed a good session netting 12 fish up to approx 5 lb and Lloyd Rattray also caught a dozen up to 5½ lb. Chris McAllister released a nice 7 lb rainbow this week, Rod Mackay and Kenny Hall both had trout of approx 8½ lb and Hugh Baxter released a hard fighting fish of approx 11 lb.
