Title: Artloch
Post by: Stuart at Artloch on 28/02/2007 at 07:42
Black was the most successful colour at Artloch this past week, whether that be a Fritz, Montana or Pennell and it has been great to see rising fish once again, tempting some anglers to use a dry or CDC.
Examples of baskets include I Armstrong who tempted 10, W Rainnie released 9, while visitors P Guy and J Eva enjoyed their visit with 14 and 10 respectively, best at 5lbs.   J "Spider" Smith left very happy with a lovely 9lbs 4 ozs bow, while M Yeoman released 7 during a short visit.   L Jones had a very good brace of well-formed bows at 8lbs 12 ozs in his basket of 9.  P Pichall tempted 12, best at 4lbs, while B Grigson also released a dozen, best at 5lbs.   J Rennie had 2 good visits, tempting 36 on his first visit, following with another dozen on a subsequent trip, with his best a double figure fish.   However, the most extraordinary catch was a mink by I Sutherland.  Unfortunately, he failed to land it so it didn’t count.
