Title: Sea trout on Ythan

Was wondering if there has been any confirmed reports of sea trout caught beyond Ellon yet?
Been out till 1am last two Fri nights but not had a touch.

hi dave
i am due to fish the ythan on the 1st of july bridge pool i think its called any info on this area would be very helpful rods /flies etc as this would be my first time on the river,

Teal blue and silver jimmy or anything that looks liek a sand eel. Most of the guys at the bridge are metal workers though.

Jimmy, I'm new to river fishing so trying to find my feet as they say, so I'm like you looking for advise really although it's further up the river I'm fishing.

going to have a run down today to have a look at this bridge beat,  there are good runs of seatrout on the spey just now but nobody seems to want to fish for them,
