The pick of the week has to go to young angler Alex Yates ,13years old who had a fish of a lifetime and weighing in at a cool 17lbs 3ozs.It didnt want to give up and a friend helped him to net it as it was some size.barry Oldfield also did well with a fine fully tailed fish of 12lbs 3ozs on a small black wet fly,Ron Maltby acheive dhis biggest fish to date with a 6lbs 4ozs fish and was over the moon having not been long fly fishing,Jim Walker had a good day with his best a beauty of a Blue at 3lb ,Donny Davidson had a good fish of 4lbs 8ozs also.Plenty of good numbers of fish being caught in returns and drys are getting stronger along with emerger patterns as fish are visiting the surface with more regularity.Black is now the more dominant in colours as Jim Watt found with 18 on a klinkhammer.Les Aitken with 12 on drys,Si Neely had 10 on cdc emergers also.
