Title: 1st day on the don and urie

Well untill today i was a river virgin but given a couple of weeks off i decided to give it a go and had a superb day even in the bright conditions. Started off on the don and slowly moved down to the urie and continued up the river found some nice pools which all produced fish up to around just over the half pound.
Ive always fished still waters but now hooked on the river fishing. Got caught up in a hatch and was covered in black flies was quite amusing.
Also broke in my new #4.

Sorry mike i see i posted that in the wrong bit.
Also that was your line i was using today to christen my new #4, great line i now have it on 3 of my reels.
