Post by: sightbob on 18/02/2007 at 21:45
A good week for anglers last week with a few fine days and more than a few good bags! Buzzers were back on the menu but lures such as w.s.w. and black fritz accounted for the majority of fish caught.
Whitehills angler C McKay returned 40 fish to 6lb taken on a black lure while J Rennie boated 29 on a w.s.w. with two fish of around 10lb in his catch. Turriff angler S Milton had a great session bagging 23 on nymphs and buzzers while A Anderson had bags of 19 and 6 with a fish of 10lb falling for his w.s.w. both A Hay and J Walker landed bags of 17 to 3lb while I Bremner bagged 15 to 3.8lb on lures. D Lyon bagged 14 to 4lb on lures while P Lyon, F Murray and K Anderson all managed bags of 12 to 4lb also on lures.
G Burton landed 11 to 8lb on bloodworm and both C Field and F Duthie   used buzzers and lures to bag 9 with Chris having one of 7lb.
B Creswell bagged 7 on lures and B Reid had fish of 9.7lb and 7.5lb
