Title: Fishing venue: Watch Water Reservoir
Post by: Eugenio Antonielli on 06/03/2011 at 18:57
HI folks,
I get many queries from the italian anglerfolks about fishing spots in Scotland...this is the strangest of all: Watch Water Reservoir!
Does anybody know anything about it (fish, permits and so on)? :?

I've fished it twice whilst staying down in the Borders with some chums :wink

At that time (11years ago) it was stocked with Rainbows, don't know if it still is :z8
We got tickets at the Reservoir fishing hut and fished the bank as there were no boats free when we fished.
Few nice fish, setting is nice but there are better places I've fished

Worth a visit though  :z15

Hi guys,
the watch used to be a good water, although a few years back it went downhill. I believe that the place is now under new management, and romours last season were good. I am not able to locate their website, but follow this link for some information

I hope this helps.
